well the amount of layers varies depending on whats required of the pic i've used anywhere from 5 to 30+ or so layers, just depends on what i do [its mostly due to FX that i start rackin up the layers] thank yaz tho
Wow, Deja'vu. I'm having flashbacks to the days when I used to lay flats for the guys at Guru EFX. (those awesome color guys from Antatrtic Press who helped me do my books to those who don't know.) Great tutorial Josh. You wouldn't believe what some people would pay for what you're giving away for free.
hehe Brave Magnus, I use Photoshop 7 here [and elsewhere >___> heheh] Hiro Prime, Thank you much Dont quite understand how you guys could say you get much use out of reading all that but if it helps, then thats cool cheers!
I'm glad you've put this together, I like seeing how other people color their works and how you get certain effects/coloring/shading done. Good stuff
I have done other types of "re-coloring" on sigs and stuff at work. This is different then re-color to be sure, but it does help me fill in the gaps between the two.
