I'm not keen on the sword either. Looks like it needs some paint apps.
I bought one of the clear orange KO dealies on ebay.

 

Yeah I'm somewhat disappointed. It looks so much good without the paint. And they removed the blue paint apps on the upper legs. Still missing some silver paints on the two sides of its helmet.'
I will wait for the TAKARA chromed version.

Premium ass...I can't believe they've actually made him look worse than the regular release.

 

If I do get a repaint of this mold, after seeing that head, it's gonna be Night Watch Prime.

 

Yikes. I can see what they tried to do but it fails. I will stick with my first release version.

 

Wow. I'm pretty sure that he didn't have rabbit ears in the movie. And this official sword looks bad compared to the unofficial knock offs on eBay... too bad I missed those... anyone know if they're making more?

Still, the only Premium series figure worth buying IMPO is the Premium Bumblebee and only for that battle-helmet.

Ratchet was totally worth it too, and i think "Deep Space Starscream" and Jazz will be good too.

but yeah, so far most of them are kind of a waste IMO ~ not different enough/better enough (or in Ironhides case actually worse) to justify re-purchasing.

 

New head mold = Win, Paint apps = Fail

 

Yeah, Ratchet might have been worth picking up if I ever saw one at my local Best Buy, but I won't pay eBay or BBTS' prices for him... not that good looking.
