I've been scraping some more stuff together to sell, and I came across a dis-assembeled Magnus (Classics- Magnus vs. Skywarp).

I repaired him and am about to put him on my FS page when I noticed his guns: they are black, where the picture on the box looks white.

I have the Optimus that this mold is a re-paint of. His are silver.

Am I confusing the guns? Or do I have it right?

They're actually black. In promotional photos, not only are the guns portrayed as being white/silver, his faceplate is also teal, which wasn't the case with the actual toy, either.

 

According to TFU, Ultra Magnus had the black gun and OP had the black and sliver gun.

 

Solid black. His promo images show significantly more paint apps.

My Magnus's smokestack gun is black/silver... cause I used a silver sharpie on it.  

By the way, I don't really recommend that method. The sharpie rubs off too easily for a piece that's handled as much as that is.
