    One of our own!!

There are collectors who are known purely for the size and quality (or focus) of their collections, while others are known for being prominent personalities within the community. Then we have collectors who are renowned for being keen customisers while others gain recognition for the services they have done the community through the years. So to actually be interviewing someone this month whose qualities encompass all of the above, and happens to be a tremendously well-liked and good person too, is quite an honour.

Allen truly is one of the nicest people on this site. I've always respected him as a fellow collector and customizer, but most importantly, as a human being.

Man I love the pic with the rx-8, rsx, and wrx prowls. I'd like to see that same pic with the new mp.
I like ur recommendation for new collectors to stay focused. I too notice how new people to the hobby go ape-sh*t and just buy anything they can get their hands on TF related. Staying focused also helps keeps ur spending under control.

A fascinating interview on a rather intriguing individual. Great work on this Maz.

I especially found this quate interesting..."With discussion, I often see a lack of ability to follow a simple conversation, a lack of good communication skills, and a lack of respect for others – even if one disagrees with an opinion. I think it’s very foolish to use the phrase, “they’re just toys!” (because if they’re “just” something to be dismissed, then we wouldn’t be here, right?), but on the other hand there are some people out there in our hobby that need to learn fundamental values of humanity and interacting with others properly. -..."

This, this right here...I have often seen this behavior and felt much the same. In fact, this is the soul reason that I have only lurked on this site for well over 6 years now until very recently.

Over time, I have witnessed here on the boards of TFW2005 those like Allen who have convinced me through their posts and interactions with others that their is a community here worth being part of. I, for one, want to be a part of it and look forward to much good discussion.

Thank you for this great interview!

Great to see and hear from the man behind a lot of wisdom in the masterpiece threads. SQ7 is a top man, and Maz, I salute you for yet another great article and piece. Well done both.
