'Ere we go, since all the cool kids are doing this I figured I might as well make one myself. It'd probably be best to start things off with a bio soooo... who else but our main man. Coffee of 2015: I've started going over some of their looks, but figured I'd include the older (shitty) designs as well. Coffee of 2016: This art sucks and you're a nimrod for looking at it! Bio: Optimus Prime is one of many Autobots who hold the rank of "Prime" in the galactic conflict between the Autobots and Decepticons. In spite of this, he has long since decided that the war just isn't his thing, and has since isolated himself from the conflict to pursue a life of solitary. Still, this hasn't stopped him from jumping to the rescue when the opportunity presents itself. Endlessly courageous. Endlessly heroic. And endlessly stubborn, some have come to believe his bravado makes him something of a try-hard. And maybe he is. But it has yet to stop him from taking what he does incredibly seriously. Too seriously. Often, he has presented an unhealthy amount of melodrama in the workplace. Most often when briefing his comrades, oftentimes providing them with lengthy speeches about "what must be done" while quoting from classic movies and soaps. Out of battle he's generally good natured, being the kind of guy who likes to sit comfortably and watch his evening soap operas or read a book just after decorating the base with those pine-scented thingies. And yet this does nothing to restrain his untapped bitterness when enraged. In most cases, it's when someone left graffiti on his precious Ark, or if someone left a rotting loaf of ener-bread in the fridge. An overtly-dramatic hour-long lecture would soon follow. Weapons and Abilities: Optimus wields a large Energon-Axe built for exploration and clearing paths. It is also good for splitting heads. He transforms into a large, four wheeled “tumbler”-like vehicle that can easily run over and trample any competition as well as that of an earthen truck. Unfortunately, he has proven to be a terrible shot, and relies heavily on hand to hand (or axe to face) combat to achieve victory. Old-Pic:
I can tell that Optimus's chest is somehow inspired by the TFP Orion Pax design from the Art of Prime book. Looking forward to seeing more of your character designs soon.

I came here expecting coffee and donuts and instead got Transformers!!! 0/10. I kid of course, fantastic alt mode for Optimus.
Since he's already appeared once... Prowl. Bio: An old colleague of Optimus, Prowl reached his spot in High Command as a result of his great mind, his dedication to rules and disciplines, and above all, his elevated sense of logic. Out of all the Autobots, be it in High Command or guild leader, Prowl is one of the most detested. Par of this is because of his strict outlook of the war's order, and part of it is because he's a total prick who doesn't know the meaning of levity. According to him, however, levity is out of the question when war is involved. The war, as he knows it, is falling further and further into chaos due to the freedom granted to the Independent Guilds. This has infuriated Prowl, setting him on a path of organizing the Autobot guilds under one set of rules and guidance. Unfortunately this has been to little avail. Since there are few who would call Prowl a ‘friend’, certain rumors have spread regarding his legitimacy, specifically that he has blackmailed his way to his position, or that he has organized certain behind the scenes actions to make the Autobot Government appear more white than black. But of course, these are nothing more than rumours and gossip, so the validity of these accusations are still up for debate. Though he is not a member of Team Prime, he is currently stationed as the Autobot’s head director, strategic officer, and council to Ultra Magnus, filtering and delivering orders and requirements to the many Autobots across the Galaxy via the Autobot Orbital Command Hub. Weapons and Abilities: Due to his role, Prowl is almost never seen in action - prompting some to wonder just how well his prowess in battle really is. Though Prowl would find himself most fit commanding the troops from the back, he has a versatile fighting style gathered from his short period of time learning discipline under the Circle of Light. While it still begs one to question how skilled he is in this department, most would argue that Prowl’s strategic mind is one of the most terrifying weapons in the Autobots arsenal. Old pic: --- While more of a secondary character and not quite on "Team Prime", he's one of the three canon characters to appear so far so I just couldn't resist. He's also one of my favourite Autobot so there's a little bias in my choice of characters to draw. But still, MY GOD I hate drawing vehicles, like how the hell do you guys manage this? Seriously. On the other hand, I don't think it will be much of a surprise that Ironhide is next.
Your Prowl sounds like he can make guys like TFA Sentinel Prime more likeable in comparison. Also his alt mode reminds me of that of Rodimus Prime's.
As promised... Ironhide. Bio: The second member of Team Prime, the oldest, and by far the angriest, Ironhide acts as the team's muscle and weapons specialist, a position stemming from his endless - and perhaps unhealthy - love for high calibre weapons. Highly irritable and a wee bit triggerhappy, Ironhide is, and always has been, a handful to work with. This in itself makes his friendship with the pacifistic Optimus all the more mind-boggling. Ever since boot-camp, the two seemed to get along, and now that they've reunited, the pair are as strong as ever. Some might say Optimus is the only one Ironhide doesn't yell at, but in truth, he yells at everybody, though perhaps to some bots less than others. While he is built for war and constantly asking Prime for permission to blow something up or punch someone in the face, socially, Ironhide doesn't have a lot going for him. He isn't great with words, and he spends most of his time in silence, inspecting his beloved weaponry or falling asleep with his eyes open. But when some young punk - or worse- a Decepticon starts making a mess of his quarters, you'll be sure he'll start raging at them with everything his vocal processor can offer. Weapons and Abilities: His go-to weapons are his two massive, wrist mounted cannons; respectively referred to as The Atomic Revoltechnical Radioactive Nitron Cannon, and the Hydraulics Automated Atom Distributor: The ‘A.R.R.N’ and ‘H.A.A.D’ for short. Both cannons are capable of supplying an intense amount of firepower that can singe the non-existent hairs off Megatron's head. The backfire of these weapons, however, is the fact that they overheat really quickly, resulting in a long recharge time… in which Ironhide will gleefully swing them around like they were a pair of massive mallets, utilizing their weight to knock his enemies unconscious. In his belt he holds a pair of daggers, though he rarely uses them, preferring to polish them in his free time instead. His bulky frame has fitted Ironhide comfortably as the ‘tank’ of team Prime, though as fit for a tank, Ironhide is also hellishly slow, even in vehicle mode. In this form, he has found its best use it's acceleration for ramming into enemies by surprise. Ironhide is also quite adept at mending and constructing weaponry, though that’s about as far as his academic intelligence goes. ---- Ironhide's role is basically thanks to a thread I made way back when titled "best bud to Optimus Prime" or something like that. I was basically looking for a 'Garrus Vakarian' sort of colleague to Optimus and after some thinking, figured Ironhide fit the bill. When it came down to his design I knew I wanted him to have his cannons, and I knew I didn't want him to be the same colours as Optimus, so I decided I'd base his look off of his movie version (WhichImaysortoflikebetterthanhisG1versionshhdon'ttellanyone). I had to change up his pose a little mid way since I originally had him squatting and it- well it looked stupid. Now I'm starting to think his legs should be a little bulkier.
Oh hey, I never noticed the scar before! That's a nice touch. Another nice touch is the way the cannons are named. Nice callback to his Southern accent in G1.
Hmmm a giant fusion cannon on the right arm and what seems to be a bucket shaped head gee I wonder who could it be? *Coughmegatroncough!*
