whos already got it? i cant wait, waiting til next paycheck to get my extra 10% off at my store and get it w/ my 80gig PS3. seen lots of screen shots and info, like how i own 3 or 4 of the real guns in the game and that they atleast visually realisticly represent them in the game, need to test the shooting on them though
i been playin it so awesome :3 i play when i can with some of the TFW guys but none of them like to reply to my game invites or anything xD hehehe nah we have fun. had a good 2 on 2 game today with weirdwolf1975. that was fun. too bad i had to cut short cuz of dinner :\
Aaah so that's where you went! Our side won the match anyway. Not to mention after you left it was 3 on 1, me being the 1. CoD's got to be one of the most awesome games I've ever played. Visually stunning, sound effects are superb, I must admit, it's got a leg up on Halo 3 in many ways.
I play, I'm pretty deep into MP right now but I've done a bit of single player (on Veteran how every CoD should be played). I was surpised theres no Multiplayer Achievements on 360, especially with the challenges. Right now I just need to finish the Marathon and Explode an Enemies explosive device (Phase 2 and 3) to finish out Boot Camp.
I would've enjoyed it more if mine wasn't defective. I got to the part where you provide ground support in the AC-130, at which point a "the disc cannot be read" window popped up. Looked at the disc after taking it out, turns out there were big, long, circular scratches on the disc. I'm returning it to Wally World today.
I agree. Only thing that would make this even better would be vehicles.. I needs me some tank killin.. I've beaten the normal story. Fun game. Now I need about 13 or so more pieces of intel and a few achievements. Then it is time to play on the really hard levels...
I've had a copy of CoD2 as well as two copies of CoD3 come up scratched like that from normal play. I think its something to do with Activisions games and my 360 as Guitar Hero 2 ended up scratched like this as well. I sent CoD2 into Activison exactly as instructed in the manual then contacted their support about CoD3 since they sent me a rudley worded letter when I got CoD2 back stating I didn't follow procedures. Their response for CoD3 and GH2 was that my 360 was about to break and I should contact MS even though it was just those 3 games I've ever had issues with.
Sickest shooter ever. Something wacked is going on with x-box live right now. I can't get online and my xbox is going crazy.
Yeah LIVE is acting goofy. A friend told me he got a message saying that LIVE will be down tomorrow, but I have no clue whats going on now. And COD4 is probably one of THE BEST games I have every played. Far better than any of the Halo games IMO. Got to level 50 I believe last night and hope to get to 55 tonight so I can rinse and repeat. BTW the Barrett .50 is freakin' SICK!
Walmart wouldn't give me a refund or a giftcard, only an exchange for the same game. As luck would have it, they had none in stock, and told me I was "out $70." I went to Gamestop afterwards to trade some stuff in, and told one of the employees what happened. They gave me full store credit for it.
hah i will hoepfully be able to join some of you guys online late at night this thursday, i think im going to go ahead and blow my whole paycheck on an 80gig PS3 and COD4
Yes, but (not a knock on those who own a PS3) most of us here will be on the 360 version of it. He stated that we wanted to join us on CoD4, but he wouldn't be able to join the majority of us since we don't have it on PS3. Kind of defeats the purpose of it.
I rented the game over the weekend, even got to play with Color once I'll buy it soon, but times are kinda tough right now. I really enjoy using the M16A4 with a silencer on it online.
i kinda said i was gettin a PS3 in the first post though , im sure ill find someone to get shot by heh
