    Yeah, I'd say he climbed the ranks a bit faster than "usual" due to his "mission". Happens all the time in scifi stuff. Important characters get promoted no questions asked.

    he got a super promotion due to the battle at Mission City-i think it was explained to a certain degree in The Veiled Threat.

    Yeah, it doesnt matter if he was an E-3, he organized the with others the extermination of hostile f**king robots planning on destroying humanity

    Its a Movie and Micheal Bay is involved, it doesn't have to make perfect sense as long as there are alot of explosions
