I'm also predicting that this Megatron will NOT be a repaint of a current Megatron. I feel the club is going to give us something unique by using a whole new mold and remolding the head to make a new Megatron.

Any reference pics (like source material - not the Club Mag!!) as to what "Shattered Glass" is? Is it a comic storyline? Video game? MMORPG? :confused2

Maybe Prime will transform into something destructive, like a tank, jet or gun, and Megatron will be something benign like a truck, fire engine or primate.

Prime is a black/purple repaint classic voyager. Hope megatron will be similar.

Megatron will be a bus that prides itself on getting small children to school in absolute safety!

I don't understand this question. Why not the club mag? It's the best source for this kind of thing there is. Would the BotCon.com web site be allowable? If you download the 2008 brochure, you'll see it referenced. It's basically the title of the boxed set/comic story that will be coming out at the convention. It apparently references the "Mirror Universe" concept they're going with this year.

Anyway, perhaps your questions will be answered in the brochure. If not, perhaps I simply have misunderstood you, and if you rephrase the question, I (or someone else) can try again.

So is this set supposed to fall in the Classics line or not. I'm debating on getting the at-con exclusives as i'm already getting the con set, just wondering b/c if not i'll probably just sell them.

I'm so hoping it's not either of the Classics Megs. I'm so psyched for this con set.

When I was in high school my dad would walk to the bus stop with me. As the bus came over the hill he'd joke "Here comes Academius Prime"

Pete says since it's an alternate universe it can fit in and out of any line you want it to. Makes sense to me.

Wow, what a lame concept - the 'bizarro world' version of classic tf's...

Just saved a bundle this year with not having to buy botcon, animated, and tf movie figures, lol... a whole year of crappy tf's until classics/universe 2.0 comes out.

I think this is a really cool idea.

In a "mirror universe" where good = bad, up = down, and pudding = poodoo, you need a "benevolent" Megatron to battle the "maniacal" Optimus Prime...!

And aren't school buses nature's counterpart to manaical tractor trailers...?

No, bizzaro world is a square planet inhabited by imperfect clones of Superman and Lois Lane.

You're thinking of the Dark Mirror universe from Star Trek.

Meh, I wish we could get some pics, I mean I didn't mind laying my money down for last years set since we all pretty much knew what they were going to look like but this years I need some visuals, at the at con exclusives would be even better to know if its worth saving up some extra or not, but as of right now i'm not impressed with this years set.

I'm with you on the visuals. Last year I still waited until the last minute to order the set until I saw everything. This one will be no different.
