In the intro letter in the new club magazine, Brian confirms that the Shattered Glass set of figures contains a "benevolent Megatron." Most likely an at-con exclusive.

Probably not, since the movie toys are off limits. Unless there's a joke I'm missing.

(Just worried it will be deluxe-sized, as there have been rumors of Starscream being the Voyager-sized Cybertron mold... and that would make three Voyagers in the pack, if the Voyager Megatron were used. But who knows, maybe the rumor is wrong, and it's not Cybertron Starscream.)

Actually I wouldn't mind deluxe Megatron too much.  

 

Well, Megatron is most likely one of the at-con add-on sets, which means he could be a voyager. Curious if we'll get the Classics Megs in "heroic" colors, or a Megatron from a different series altogether.

 

The voyger repaint megatron would seal the deal for me. A two pack mold...well I'll take a shit on that one.

 

Hmmm... This set is starting to get interesting... I am still debating whether to save up for Botcon set or for club exclusives....

 

If it's the deluxe then that is just one more to sell in the dealers room. Same thing with the free gift figure if it's on par with last years Mirage.

EDIT: Okay you guys are seriously not getting it. 'Shattered Glass' is the name of this year's Botcon set. It's set in an alternate universe where the courageous Decepticons wage their battles to the destroy the evil forces of the Autobots.

That TRU exclusive Energon Megatron repainted wouldn't be too bad.

 

"Shattered Glass" is the name of this year's con set, much the same way last year's was "Games of Deception" and '06 was "Dawn of Future's Past." Megatron, as far as I know, will just be called Megatron.

 

Interesting. I just wish I didn't dislike the Classics Megatron blaster mold so much....

 

My guess is that he's gonna be Cyb Def Scattorshot mold. But it's just a guess.

 

See I'm starting to wonder if these are really going to be anything original, I mean they are using Characters that already exist within that same mold for the most part and just slapping new paint apps, I really don't have high hopes for this year after the shenanigans they pulled last year with the remaining seekers being exclusives.

 

Cool, my dream of a Megatron painted in heroic (Op Prime plz) colours just got one step closer.
