...from hasbro http://www.hasbrotoyshop.com/ProductsByBrand.htm?BR=863&ID=21030 cant wait to see this!
Sounds cool, but, not cool enough to get (especially for $100). I'm hoping for some cheaper toys of the main monster and the smaller parasite type things (I'd be happy with a $10 toy of each to be honest).
Well, at least we'll get a good clear look at the creature since we didn't get a full body shot in the movie. I ain't paying $100 for it, though. No, sir!
$100 does seem steep, but this must be one of the better figs to represent. For a creature so large, Im sure there's plenty that will pay for the finest detailing of it They're probably have a bunch more sizes ranging from $3-50. Plus a $300 statue or 3 Would'nt be suprised if they launched a toyline.
Yay Clovie toy! BOO! $100 pricetag! And of course it has electronics... Gotta love unneeded crap that drives up the price eh Hasbro? Does have some nice articulation on it though, 70 points FTW.
70 Points of articulation?! That's incredible. I really hope the bubble is all cloudy and dusty so you can't see what it is until you open it. I'd laugh really hard. And 10 Parasites FTW!
What the?! There was no main shot of the monster at all?! I was thinking of watching the movie solely to watch the beast (I'm a kaiju nut)...so how do we know if the toy is a accurate representation of the monster?
You get enough shots of the monster from different angles to piece together what it looks like. I'm definitely interested in this since I was just telling a friend that I'd like a large scale version of the monster. The price tag isn't too bad considering what alot of movie related merchandise goes for. When I get this guy, I'm having it tangle with my Sentinel from the Matrix movies.
They probably waited for the box office numbers before grennlighting the project. Now time to get their sculptors and factories going so they can pump this out by October. I wonder when the DVD of the movie is supposed to come out.
