i like them both.   Not sure which one I prefer until I see them in hand/review. Of course, I hope the rumored TT will trump both, but I'm not missing out on these either. If TT doesn't announce by the time these come out, I'll get at least one of them.

 

Do you even third party? That's an impossible hope for this I think.The cheapest they come is about $80

 

And maybe Star Wars 7 will come out on VHS. Time to upgrade, man. MP is the place to be!

 

Quakewave is king. This thing doesn't even need to exist.

 

I like the gun mode on this better than FT's, as well as the legs. Glad I sold my QW off before the Shockwave wars began. Unless FT announce a new release I'll be getting this.

 

Not all of us like having a bunch of large museum display pieces sitting around that we'll rarely touch. I have MP and MP-styled figures as well but CHUG is meant for playing with!

I'd totally get it if it was Voyager-sized for some CHUG fun. I'd probably hold out for a Quakewave reissue or Takara figure for the MP display though.

 

The slimmer, slightly curved legs are nice, but Quakewave's upper body is much more appealing and geewun (in a good way), IMO.

Surprised they went with the comic-inspired shoulder insignia and then put it on the wrong side.

Not enough here to upgrade my QW, but a nice alternative. Would look nice next to the Studio OX DX9 stuff.

There's something off about this figure, like it's trying to be too many versions of Shockwave.

I can see Quakewave in the legs, arms, and transform, FOC Shockwave in the waist and part of the chest, Prime Shockwave in a bit in how the chest is molded. Maybe it's just me.

 

I think Quakewave looks better, just makes me wonder if Takara MP Shockwave rumors are true when this gets revealed?

 

Totally stole the leg transformation from Quakewave. The rest transforms like quakewave and G1 but FansToys came up with that clever leg transformation to keep the legs beefy while the gun handle stays thin.

 

I think I like this better than Quakewave so far (visually), though it does feel a little less GeeWun, which can be a good thing or a bad thing, really.

For me, I like it, and if this and the Quakewave KO come in different colors (say, one in grey, one in purple), I'll get both. Otherwise, eh, probably this one if quality is there.

 

I'm actually hoping that this will be taller than Quakewave around the height of Apollyon. That way this can be a G1 Marvel Shockwave  

I really like how they made the chest light up as well.
