No info yet about the size, but looking at the initial pics (head/sword/etc), it's the same size as Hex.

I don't see the point then, unless it's like half the price, what's the appeal over getting the MMC product? If it's just slightly cheaper, I don't see many people buying it.

Could you imagine if their Overlord project is just a knock off of Carnifex? (Right now the silhouette looks remarkably similar to BTS' Overlord. Especially around the knees.)

How can that happen so fast, I don't get it. How do they get the mold or how does that work? Do they buy a real Hex and go from there? I have a few KO, but I just don't feel I can support this. I lb a that don't make sense but I would rather buy the real Hex. It might be different if this was a year from now or something and Hex was tripled in price or something, but so close after the real hex was released.

At least they're equal opportunity knock off artists. They're not playing favourites!

I'll reserve my judgement till he's released. Is it shady of them? Yes. But if they make a better figure for the value, so be it

I wouldn't mind upgrades but a blatant ok this fast is bullshit

It doesn't really make any sense... he's still available at retail... with several retailers having more stock coming soon... I can't imagine there's much of a market left. Ah well... I wish them the worst.

Been awhile since I looked in here... I'm glad they're sticking up for themselves.

hmmm, brazen of them if these are straight KOs. Maybe this is hasbro/takara in disguise unafriad to use the real name because....it's secretly theirs. and what is a 3rd party gonna do...sue them? not likely. of course that is an out there idea. reverse engineering is actually no small feat unless they have inside help...and this is happening way too quickly without a dedicated team on it.

A fun thought I suppose... but I doubt they have time for this trivial nonsense.

As long as none of the places where I buy from don't carry this as I would hate for them to not be able to carry mmc products anymore

Maybe this was some of the stupid "stuff that's gonna take MMC down!" that was sweeping the anti MMC pages a few weeks ago...

If so I have to laugh. That diecast looks like lead. And I seriously doubt there is a market for this unless rediculously cheap, and then, you get a topheavy metal crotched Hex clone. Meh..

And on the whole KO vs 3rd party invisionment, take the Ninja Turtles. If someone were to make cartoon accurate versions that their company is not making, and starting from the ground up to design a NEW figure, then AWESOME. If someone takes a mold of an original ninja Turtle, then makes copies of someone elses design, then boo. See the difference? Its like the kid who can draw good vs the kid that traces.

Sadly... I used to be that kid... tracing ninja turtles... not even the cool comic-book ones, but the cartoon ones. :(  I was 12 though, so I can forgive myself.

3rd party copies HasTak (mp convoy/lambo/red alert/tapes): AWESOME
3rd party copies 3rd party (sixshot): CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY

Personally, I would just buy the die-cast parts and put them on my own MMC Sixshot if the quality is good.

What exactly would a die-cast crotch add to the figure... other than not chipping when you bite it? I've never touched Hexatron's crotch and wished it was harder...
