Either that, or it looks something like Soundwave's alt-mode from Cybertron. I can't quite tell...

Great to see I'm not the only person who thought "Vector Prime" when seeing that altmode.

What's to say? I love it.

You have no idea how you make my day, i really needed a good laugh. Thanks. ^^
Er....i'm still laughing :p  Anyway, looks good. the head does resemble G1 Soundwave or at least it looks like it. Bot mode its a bit strange but then again all movie toys are. ^^ Cool alt.mode, just like everyone else said: similar to Vector Prime. ^^

No you can't. Well, I mean, you can if you turn him upside down maybe, but not in either of those pics.

Geez... looks more like the love-child of Bayformers Megatron and Vector Prime. Also, tranformation looks like a stand-up-former. From these pics, nothing impressive at all.

I don't know, I mean, I can see where you could get that impression, but he still looks way too much like Vector Prime for me to see it any other way.

The thing in altmode isn't his head. The other pics may have been blurry as hell, but we could ALWAYS identifity a mostly blue head with a grey mouthplate, and recently in the latest couple of pics red eyes/visor as well. Oh, and the shapes between the altmode "head" and the robot mode head are different, as well.

And yeah, the legs looked longer in the previous pics...I really hope that they will be, because then he'll have a tall and menacing form. At least they got rid of the massive gut from the concept art...

Oh, one more thign I noticed: Didn't he have two extra circles on his torso in the other pics? What happened to those?

Looks very cool, like the Vector Prime-esque alt mode.

Looks like some gray plastic piece folds over and partially covers it. Agreed about legs. About had it with gorilla proportions.

Interesting...It doesn't really jive with the satellite alt-mode we've been hearing about (unless that's actually his earth mode since this looks like a cybertronian jet ala Megatron). I guess if he is a satellite, he could always be a terrestrial satellite dish/installation, or a mobile satellite platform, which would make the most sense IMO. It does, however, clearly have those blue orb decorations that the supposed concept art had, and it is blue, so I'd believe it's actually Soundwave.

I like the direction the new bot's styles seem to be going in. So far this and Sideswipe's designs (from what we've seen) show a nice, stylized evolution from the 1st movie's designs, and I'm liking it so far.

I could see this figure being used as a potential "preview" toy like the protofroms for the first movie. That way, there'd still be plenty of room for an earth-mode Soundwave in the main line, and I think his character's got enough name recognition that he'd drum up excitement early on. The first movie line wasn't shy about multiple toys for each character, though, so we'll definitely see different versions either way.

Megatron kicks himself when he sees this Cyber-jet mode! No wonder he's a tank now! I do like!
