Care to extrapolate? I can't fathom any negatives at this point. Looks amazing.

There is no way this is going to be 1/24th (1/26th to the sticklers out there) scale though. The other Masterpiece figs are not "to scale".

I would be ecstatic with 1/48th scale. Same as the Yamato's.

I'm not too concerned with scale, as long as robot mode is more-or-less the same as Prime's. If we wanted scale him to scale with Optimus, then his jet mode would be 3 feet long. Not that that would be bad, mind you, but it isn't going to happen.

    Ahem. Fanboy mode: on.

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME! I remember when I was a kid, I was so heartbroken that the Starscream toy had those ugly cones on the head, didn't have real arms, had flat feet, and a really stupid-looking face. This is the toy I've been waiting for!

I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally wanted to buy a Yamato 1/48 Valkyrie a while back, but it was too damn expensive (I think they still sell for something like $150. No, thanks.) If Masterpiece Starscream is around the same price as Optimus, then I see no reason why I shouldn't buy it and play with it 24/7 for a few weeks.

Wouldnt a jet that turned into a robot be bigger than a truck cab that turned into a robot?

$100? They'll get three hundred from me if they do the obvious Skywarp and Thundercracker repaints.

Things I can tell or guess at from the "uncensored" pic:

    1. Accurate landing gear for sure.

    2. I'm guessing at moving flaps and ailerons, probably rudders, certainly stabilators. Intakes probably move as part of the transformation.

    3. The engine nozzles are a fairly distinct and important part of the G1 Seekers look, yet they've also changed over the years on the real F-15. Based on the pic in the lower left corner, I think that they're going to have both "modern realistic" nozzles for jet mode, and the older style done anime-accurate for robot mode---being switched by opening the cover and flipping the piece 180 degrees, like fists are often done.

Also, based on the pic it looks like an American F-15, not a Japanese one.

Looks interesting, but I'm going to save my enthusiasm for some actual pictures of the toy. Drawings are nice, but I want to wait and see how well the real thing resembles the design sketches.

lookin good...should be a good buy! I would also be all over Skywarp and Thundercracker Repaints of it.....then I can finally say to my MP Prime, In my best megatron voice of course, Look above You Prime its a fools ploy, as he always said in the show as the seekers TFs and attacked. I know he says something similar to that...may not be the exact words :)

    Def happy about this though!

    I love this.
People getting excited over a picture of a sketch.

Trying to see the details of things that might not even turn up in the final design.

I wonder how many would still sings it praises if it looked nothing like that sketch.
