This is another custom that I'm making specifically for ebay. I really can't warm up to the Wheeljack we got. I can't be the only one out there so here is what I feel, is a better version. Hardly anything new, but I did make some unique features. The wings are attached to the shoulders and fold down with no issues to the alt mode. The head is entirely scratchbuilt and designed after Sunstreakers, with foldable side panels that are made from opaque resin I tinted blue so light does pass through them. His feet are compliments of Gen Wheeljack and modded so he can have the alternate leg transformation. The shoulder launchers are Movie Bumblebees with ROTF Dirges' missles. The new spoiler is from Drift and the front end is styrene. I also made a panel for the roof to get rid of that nasty corrugated look.
The Immobilizer is parts from a Mir Space station Model kit, Millenium Falcon landing gear, a battle droid kit, styrene and other random junk.
Immobilized Ironhide is exactly what you think! Immobile! He is completely solidified, no moving parts at all. He's really more of an accessory. he's made from parts of a Classics Ironhide, G1 Ironhide, a modded Astrotrain head and styrene. This set will be on ebay this week with a couple more accessories and Wheeljack will have a color scheme thanks to some Reprolabels.

oh man, that is so awesome. I was watching this episode the other night. I am also dissapointed with the wheeljack hasbro gave us, so it's great to see another one of these customs. and those bonus items just kicked my ass. bravo

Sweetness! This is a top shelf custom, going to be even better with the decals! The accessories are well thought out and very fan wanky! Needles to say I love it! I hope you make a fortune off him!

I would be really impressed if you could make that Ironhide transform, but this still looks great!

u solved his foot problem quite easliy with a swap from WJ.
    great. stable?
those wing bits are quite nifty too. :)
the front bumper lip went where in bot mode? esp the intercooler/centre section.
u did a great work on the lip, i have to take a second look to see where it went.

Just out of curiosity.. what does that ironhide look like in alt mode? IT looks like it could be improved over it's classics counterpart.
I like this WJ quite a bit!

Glad to know I'm not the only one. Thanks dude!

Thank you sir! You got a spot picked out for it yet?

Thanks alot Hank! Yeah, the decals are going to be more subtle than the original but not as boring as the new one. And what the devil is "wanky"?

I actually watched the episode while I was making it. Kept making the sound that the immobilizer made as I worked. It helped.

    (wipes chin)

It would look cool as a vehicle but it would defeat the purpose of him being "immobilized". I made it mainly because since there is a licensed WJ out there i needed to sweeten the pot. Plus I need to lighten my parts bins.

The lip just folds where it normally goes. I notched out his hipt to allow for the new plastic parts. The feet are very stable and they're still on ball joints so posing him is still a feature. Or Feet-ure if you will :p

Thanks J! The Ironhide in alt mode looks like a bunch of ironhide parts in a pile :)  It's essentially just a statue. Or were you being fecetious?

I snagged Generations WJs feet and widened the socket to fit snugly on the new balls. Also added a strip of styrene to the heel because the back of them are rounded. Without those he'd keep falling backwards.

Thanks! He's tough, he can take it. Besides (SPOILER ALERT) he survived it!
