Saw both of these figures for sale in a local store and classics Lugnut was born. Any comments or suggestions before I finish him off.
The claw bombs are a little bulky but it seems to work, once they are painted they should blend in better.
Yeah it be nice to see a quick view of the Plane/alt mod so we can an idea of how he looks. Buts so far it's turning out quite nice.
I like it! Although here's an idea: have a WWII "pin-up" girl as nose art. Someone some time ago made a Movie Lugnut from a B-24 that looked mega-cool-kick-ass, so that's where I got the idea.
Looks really good. Should look like a true classics once all the paint matches (complement, not saying it looks like a hasbro repaint)
Thats a cool idea, I was also thinking of putting a picture of Megatron where the Powerglide heart is.
Perhaps find a way to get the bombs positioned a little more under the wings? And maybe put some engines onto the wings, like on the Animated figure. Either way, it's looking cool so far.
I'm not sure that puting engines/thrusters on the wings would work, seeing that the wings fold upward. Unless you were to make them removable, that may work.
What a fantastic idea! It works really well. I don't know why I never thought of the Powerglide mold as Lugnut, it seems so obvious now that you've done it. Now I want one.... Great work! And I like the idea of him wearing a Megatron locket next to his heart.
Awesome... Does the lights go into his head? Do you plan to add those little turrets that Lugnut had on to this guy? The front guns would just end up on the feat- placed that way- however if they were put on the sides of the cockpit they would just not appear in robot mode just like the top mounted turret. I know this isn't to be exact but a Universe variation. What else I would be asking... would be too much... a hinged mouth maybe and the sound effects turned into "All Hail MEGATRON!!!" and "For The Glory of Megatron!"... yeah... but It's enough right now.
