I want to put the grey shoulders of classics smokescreen on to silverstreak (not a fan of his red shoulders)
i know i can do this by just unpegging the shoulder piece
problem is the block contains the wheel and the movable block behind the front shoulder piece is blue (smokescreens grey shoulder has a blue block - imagine the blue would look silly on silverstreak)

It looks like you can remove the wheel pin that holds the block and shoulder piece together,
ive tried and had no success (also dont want to ruin the wheels with my heavey hands)

i have see this swap done by other people,

does anyone know how to do or or are willing to do this for me?

im from the uk so it would be best if one of you talented SOB who wants to do this for me is also from the uk,

but any advice from anyone is most welcome,

if you use a soldering iron on that pin for 40 seconds it will warm up the pastic enough to be flexible and the pin will come out really easy

i took my prowl all apart when i converted him to a jazz

does doing this method, damage or warp the plastic?
also where exactly should the soldering iron be placed?

you place the tip of the soldering iron directly on the metal only and as long as you dont put it on there for more than 40 seconds it wont hurt the plastic. now what will happen on the wheels when you pull on them they will slide over the head of the pin but the plastic will go back to its original form.

i would do it for you but shipping wouldnt be cheap since im in the us

hey dude im in the UK and have done this wheel removal method it really does work and is easy. just place the tip of the soldering iron on the metal pin and do it 10 secs at a time so you dont heat it up too much.

eventually the wheel will lift over the pin and come off giving you access to the parts you need to swap. hope it helps!

cheers dude, your pratically a neigbour to me,
if i cant do it (or scared of ruining the figure) would you do it for me please,

what i dont understand is does the pin come out of the wheel or does the pin stay but the wheel goes over it (like what you said)
thing is if the wheel comes off over the pin, how do you get it back on??

you have to do it twice

once you get the wheel off do let it cool then heat the pin again and the pin should come out of the back of the shoulder
