the fifth time doing this bot(6th if you count the blaster i did too)
this time around it's a gift for a good buddy and fellow member.
being as this is the fifth time i've turned prime into soundwave,i changed it up ever so much.
more filling/weight added this time,a bit more rounded corners/edges,more styrene work,most notably in the shoulders and back side.

version 1 is on the left.version 5 the right.
the blue was switched up this time with model master 4661 ford/gm engine blue.
his silver areas have a touch of gunmetal(though my shoddy pic skills keep overexposing the metallics)

(also,i finally remembered to run off more copies but i now have more copies of the blueprints to turn your 2pack prime into soundwave if you want to try it out)

I believe it's the two-pack Prime, that comes with the green tank Megatron. Great work, love it!

for those who do get a copy of the blueprints,keep in mind that you have to cut "inside" the lines.the blueprints are slightly bigger than they actually need to be,the thickness of a ballpoint pen tip all around.(roughly just under 1/16")
and the thickness of styrene you want is 1/16" or thinner.just not paper thin.

 

This is just awesome! I always wanted to have deluxe version of Soundwave Earth Mode. Is it possible to have a copy of the instructions how to create this wonderful masterpiece? Again WOW!!

 

Never thought this would get better...but now V.5 is fantastic. If I didn't have the Music Label Soundwave, you bet I'd have done this a long time ago. Glad to see a template though if in the future I choose to follow in your footsteps.

I have Music Label and am STILL doing this. Probably twice because I always have to have/make a Soundblaster to go with my Soundwaves. =)
