One final idea. Trim down the hand blaster a little bit, and maybe create some sort of cover for it, if you are want to put him in blaster mode more. If you don't plan on putting him in blaster mode, then it's not really a big deal. All in all a very good effort, that bugger isn't easy to paint.
I just plan to leave him in bot-mode. I just took a couple of pics of his "turret" mode so people wouldn't ask for them, lol. And yes, he is a bit complicated to paint, lol. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with Meg's arm cannon, but, I'm sure I'll find something to do with it, lol.
Oh, just re-read my post, sorry if I was coming off as pissed or something (I wasn't). I was actually laughing while I was typing it, as I had just watched the BK commercial on TV, lol. Edit: Just got to thinking about it, and I did pretty good for this being my first kitbash, lol.
I like it the hand blaster is kinda in the way, but it gives it more of Cybertronian feel to it. For that megs arm cannon maybe modified it into a barrel of some sort and attach it when you transform him back to blaster and detach when in bot mode, but its just a thought. I guess the pink and the hidden symbol gives Shocky a more mysterious and somewhat creepy presents.
Yeah, I am not digging the pink either. Then again it isn't my figure so what the hell do I care what he paints it. Nice work man, I love the final product. Gun mode looks awesome.
While I don't like the exact shade of pink, I think that a lot could be gained by using gloss varnish on it. Gloss Varnish will give the area applied to a bit of a glass like look to it, and become more akin to the original Shockwave.
