Thanks. Little update. I've got what should be the last coating of clear-coat on the wings. Everythings looking really good so far.
Last update. I've gotten the last coat of clear-coat on the wings, and they've dried almost all the way. I'm still going to wait 5 full days before I put him back together. The wait won't be too terrible for you guys, I'll have Perceptor, Tracks, and my next bash aftter those (still a secret) for you all to follow. Here are 2 pics of the finished wings.
I personally loved the way that it turned out. It helps break up the purple and silver nicely. That and it goes will with his gun hand, lol.
It looks Cadillac pink, that is what I'm not so sure about. I've never liked that color. Maybe if it was more like this color?
Beleive me when I say this guys, the pink looks a whole lot better in person, especially when next to his gun hand. Just wait and see when I finally get some decent pictures of him up.
F***, f***, f***, f***, f***, f***, f***, f***, f***, f***, f***!!! I had this exact idea back when Megs first came out, and the spacegun design sat not well with me. The only reason I never started it was I was trying to get my hands on an Alternator Shockblast for the head and hand (that's what you're using, right?). An idea I had for mine, that you're more than welcome to use: Rare Earth Magnets in his wrist and the cap on his shoulder. That way, his gun hand can become the end of the pistol in gun mode. Well, thank you for proving my idea works to my friend who wasn't quite sure, and d*mn you for reading my mind and doing it first!! Sonofa... Seriously, though. Top-freaking-notch work, man. Can't wait to see the final product!!
Don't worry. The only part of the head that is from Megs, is the ball joint, lol. I would of added a wire to his arm, but, it messed with his transformation.
He's pretty much done. I'm waiting till Wednseday to put him back together, and I'm not sure when I'll be able to take some decent photos of him.
