I decided to repaint a spare Skywarp into one of those generic purple Seekers from season 1. I may add some wing stickers to break up the purple a little bit..I'll take more pictures when the light is better tomorrow if anyone is interested..

I've got a stupid question to ask. Did this purple seeker had a name or not?

Looks good. I am working on a similar project myself. I have a fondness for purple. Could we see alt pics?

Nice paint apps - can we get some jet pics? I also think it's bad-ass that you decided to give one of the most obscure bastardized canon characters a toy. Rock on.

I've never seen a name. I've thought about re-doing a MP3 into this, but I'm not sure it would be worht the effort. I like what you've done though, TC.

    Forgive my crappy camera...

Nope, these guys were just seen in the backgroud in the first few episodes of Gen 1. I can only remember hearing them speak once when they engauged Spike and Trailbreaker in a firefight and then Sunstreaker and Sideswipe came to their rescue...

Extremely nice work, yet again. I've always liked the purple guy too and plan on doing one of my own if I can find another Starscream. But yeah, I would add something to the wings. What kind of paint did you use on this one, Tamiya again?

Yep, Tamiya spray can paint. I can't emphasize just how good this paint is. Really good stuff.

Yeah, I think I will add some stripes to the wings and maybe some Decepticon emblems tomorrow..

I used a Skywarp for this one, as Starscream has become kinda rare as it seems...

That's scary... Starscream figures have become rare in the states compared to Skywarp, while up here in Canada, we're desperate for a Skywarp! :p

So how does the Tamiya spray hold up to transformation stress? Are you getting much scraping/chipping?

It's holding up really well. That said, I was pretty careful about masking off area's where I knew there would be paint rubbing on this one and on my Thundercracker. I wasn't too concerened with it anyway because I just display these anyway and don't transform them all that much anyway.

I always thought they were drones or clones... and realy didn't think for themselve.

As for Skywarp, I never was the twopack but I can still find Starscreams and well everything else.

No not yet. Not sure if I will either. Painting is one thing, making wings from scratch is quite another. Not sure if my skills are up to the task for that project.

So basically this purple or violet seeker is more of a drone than having its own spark. Damn! It would be awesome for it to have a name like Stormbringer or something like that, but its an awesome figure more none the less. I bet right now you're working on either Dirge or Thrust at this moment well I hope to see those asap, TC.
