...Do you know what this means?

They're packaged... it won't be long before they get to stores now!

You mean like the first Cybertron toys, which we saw in packaging in January or February 2005 and which didn't get released in the USA until June?

I was actually referring to the fact that in-packaging pics of those Cybertron toys in February wasn't an indication of an impending release, considering it took them more than four months to hit retail...

Yea, well, if this is a classic I do not remember Megatron looking like this. Looks like I will have to buy a statue, that is the only way I am going to get a good representation of good old Megatron. Make a stand and dont buy this garbage.

Actually, wings aside, the mold's robot mode IS a good G1 likeness - it's just not painted that way.

Add a new paint job and a few decals (as by a mockup I did) and you get a startlingly similar G1 Megs relative to the animation model.

<------ See my avatar for an example.

his 'canon' should hold a nice scope, wonder if they'll put a crosshairs on on of the lenses?

I love the Classics. They are not identical to G1, nor should they be. We've had homages over last couple of years (testing water maybe?), but this line is the biz!

Unfortunately, living in UK it will be ebay for me!

Did some nut from the DM boards work his way over here?? Looks fantastic- I'll let Hasbro know when I buy 3 each of them (and I'll do it, too).
