Here's my stab at a Classics Megatron. Many many thank to Spoonman for providing the custom chest piece!

Basically I knocked the pin out that held the wings in place so they're now removable. Then I resculpted the head using putty since I didn't like the original proportions and weak forehead of the stock head. He looks much more G1 to me.

One problem though is the head is much bigger and doesn't fit in the chest anymore. Doh! Ah well he can be a partsformer if ever I feel the urge to transform him.

Finally he was completely repainted inside and out using some hybrid of his color schemes from the G1 cartoon and All Hail Megatron. My Decepticons are slowly becoming more and more respectable looking.

I'm pretty happy with this guy. The only thing I plan to do for sure is add the gun barrel to his back. Found a sharpie that looks like it might fit the bill, but the trigger on his back kind of restricts the available space.

Might revisit the cheek sections of his head since they're not exactly symmetrical... then again I can always just tell myself it's battle damage so it's not a priority.

    Thanks for looking!

That new chest is just awesome. You should have removed the trigger along with the wings. That way you would have room for the barrel. But really, he looks awesome as is. Will he still transform?

I used this two part putty called milliput - superfine white. It was really easy to work with and was sturdy enough to be sanded into the sharp lines on his forehead. First time using putty so I'm glad I lucked into a brand that I'll probably stick with.

Yeah he's totally transformable although I think I'll have to pop the head off to do it. :dunce  Hadn't thought about removing the trigger but that's a good suggestion. My one reservation about doing that is I feel like the trigger helps to lock the whole torso into place.

Props for the chest have to go to Spoonman :)  I had to do some slight modifying to my Megatron's chest since he had molded the piece off the KO version but that was really simple to do.

Nope. The torso is fine without the trigger there. The right arm locks it in place. Is it too late to take that piece off? It actually look fine the way it is.

Not too late no, but I might just cut the gun barrel piece so that it fits in there as it is since really it's just decorative

    Thanks man!

That is beautiful. He looks like a much more sinister version of his G1 Counterpart.

I also like the idea on how you sort the screws, springs, and pins by taping them to paper and labeling them. I ought to keep that in mind.

Thanks guys! I still haven't gotten to adding the back gun barrel piece since I've been distracted by my current project.

Also I'm a little nervous about sawing through the sharpie that I plan to use for it. Anyone know if the contents of those will spill out or is it more like a wet sponge inside those things?
