After years of regret for bypassing him when he was new, I finally got a classics jetfire. Henkei actually.

Anyway, I've tried and tried to find somewhere to store his helmet in jet mode (besides a drawer) and I've come up with nothing..

You keep his helmet on. His antenna act as blasters on the front part of the jet.

you can slide it over the hinge that forms behind his head (from when you fold the wings onto the back) and have the antennae as extra guns. it fits snugly and looks pretty cool!

EDIT: dont have a pic atm, but peaugh does it here in this video, about the 3:15 mark: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fa-KUm68VN4

My 2 cents, I only use the helmet in jet mode.
I own both Henkei and Classics.
I had a huge problem with G1 Jetfire not looking like the cartoon when I was a kid(obviously I didn't know about Bandai and the legal crap back then) so when Classics Jetfire came out I was shocked, I HAD to have it. When Henkei Skyfire came out it was an instant buy as well.

Too bad one of the antennae on my helmet broke while I was handling it roughly a few years ago. Tried supergluing it back a few times but it always comes off easily so I just leave it in my accessories box before I lose it.

At least he still looks awesome helmetless :)  I actually put on display with the helmet at the back, I prefer the G1 cartoon look :)

My Skyfire helmet goes in the same baggie that holds some missiles and Bumblebee's Jetski.

My Dark Skyfire keeps his helmet on the ground in front of him. He uses that as the line that you just don't cross:
