So you guys may remember my recently posted Classics Jazz.
http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/236029-classics-jazz.htmlI wasn't happy cuz the legs had to parts form. It looked good but that bothered the piss outta me.
Guess what? I got the mechanics to work! It was pretty damn tedious stripping down the insides of his lower legs so that his thighs could hide higher up in them without altering the car mode. It's not altered at all!
I now have a Classics non-parts-forming G1 accurate Jazz! I'll show the progress in case anyone wants to jump on the band wagon.
I still have to make a new codpiece to compensate for the torso twisting 180*, some trimming and fine tuning but IT WORKS!!
I'll have more updates fairly soon. I'm so excited! I though he was finished

The leg covers are from Energon Downshift? That's pretty dayum inovatived... as for the waist, couldn't you just pop off the legs and rotate the waist forward while keeping the legs in the new transformation, transforming him into car mode should still work...

great idea to put the shin guards on a hinge, I know I wouldn't have thought of that.

Good eye! They do belong to Downshift.
The whole point of me retooling this was to make him non-partsforming. You had to pop off his lower legs originally, but I wasnt satisfied. Now, now removing limbs required. Just flip open the shin guards, unfold the legs and twist his waist around. This way his knees still bend correctly. The only drawbach, if you can call it that, is that his roof doesnt fit quite flush to his back but that affects nothing whatsoever.

looks cool. This is what happens when you work 2 jobs plus work Radicons- you take so frakking long to finish your customs projects that people beat you to showing them off. In my Featured Radicon article, I at least did show a WIP pic of mine where you can see he has non-partsforming modified legs(almost exact same concept too).
