Purely done as a fun little project.
Just me messing about really, between more serious Commission work.

I wanted a two tone effect. Pretty much all painted with mixed metallic.
An overall dark metallic feel in alt mode, then transforms in to a more colourful metallic looking robot mode.
Possibly a Decepticon would suit more, but like I said, it was just a quick fun Custom.

    Nice colors! It's like a G2 figure....or a geode!

That's very awesome!... I really hated that mold to custom. I had a Transector custom going but got ruined, and the rub spots were a real nightmare...lol
You make it look so effortless bro, a real work of art.

Looks great! Those shades of color really look great! He has a Nemesis Rodimus vibe.

    Slightly different isn't he. Thanks.

Effortless, ha! It was good fun. Few areas on this one, but I've done a few and knew what places to correct :)

    Cheers mate!

I like the shades, and he does have the vibe you mentioned I think. Thanks for looking mate.

    I love your honesty :D
    Thanks for the feedback mate.

Interesting piece James, and awesome that you're experimenting. That's what really helped me to fine tune my customs - experimentation.

The name that popped into my head looking at him was Steely Dan. Is that wrong?

I like that the paint looks so smooth. Great way to figure out what works on future customs.
