    Is what I made here.

I'm far from being a Mudflap fan but I had this idea so I cut and old incomplete Mudflap face off, stuck it on in place of X-Brawn's face, and used an old leftover can of orange paint that sputtered a bit and didn't make for a real even base coat. Not the kind of thing i'd let fly for one of my commissions, but it's just something I did for fun that will go to ebay soon.

Great execution, but for a "CHUG" style, I would have gone with a more "G1" styled face, just one that was non-symmetrical, to homage the original's style.

This is pretty good like it is, but I have to agree with this. Maybe something like Energon Slugslinger's head.

I wanted it to VERY clearly be based on the Bayverse Mudflap. The original Mudflap was a TF cybertron character, right? So a Classics Mudflap could possibly be confusing as far as who it is supposed to be without that goofy face, the longer arm, and the colors making it as obvious as possible.
If I was going for a G1 Classics style Mudflap he would have been green and brown with normal robot proportions and nothing would have in any way resembled Michael Bay's version. You know, like how very few of Michael Bay's movie Transformers look anything at all like their G1 counterparts. Just look at G1 Skids and Bayverse Skids.

To change the head some though, I sculpted gunmetal lower helmet bits under the ears and only used the very front of ROTF Mudflap's face on the otherwise still round full head.

That right arm is gross, but the figure sure isn't! Take some pics of him right next to Skids!

Very fun! It'd be cool to see more characters redone in RID 2001 style.

lol, don't see too many RiD2k moulds being used as base figures. Also I laugh every time someone uses "CHUG" in a thread, knowing how much it bothers some people.

Love it! It's my favorite RID mold, this is a great take.

Now do Movie Skids. Uh, please ;)

Oh I didn't know it bothered anyone. I really don't know what else to call that collection. I admit though, "CHUG" doesn't fit anymore either. Classics, Henkei, Universe, Reveal the Shield, Generations, Combiner Wars, Titans Return, and now Siege... I'm probably even forgetting a toy line or 2. The proper acronym would be nuts. There should be a good universal word for "updated modernized G1 Transformer characters, though really now they are even more than that too.

If there was a reverse version of X-Brawn with the long arm on the other side, I would.

Sorry, but I can't agree with you there. I think your choice looks odd. I'm sure it's easy (for someone with your talent) to make a G1/CHUG styled face that's "lopsided". The rest of the body looks fine, as-is. It's just the face. It doesn't look "CHUG, to me.

You could consider some of the Beast Wars (Transmetal?) faces as a starting point. Although not exactly what I imagine, there closer to being "CHUG" and "lopsided" than the film version.

It doesn't bother most people. Just people who don't really understand the relevance and usefulness of the term.

Since Bumblebee is 16' tall and his generations studio series figure is 6" tall,

    1:32 scale, aka "three-eighths scale" or Normal-Scale.

You might not have seen in the OP where I mentioned that I'm not a Mudflap fan at all and just did this for fun. Sounds like you put deeper thought into it than I did and care about how his head should technically look by strict standards more too so by all means feel free to go make a version of this custom that is way better.

Hah wow, yeah that's a long acronym... Can't say I like the idea of calling them 1:32 scale much better though because that's basing what they are called on how a certain number of them scale with each other, when scale in the CHUGRtSUT30LCWUWTRPotPSWTF line is all over the place.

Like I said, I'm sure YOU'RE talented enough to pull this off. My own skills aren't good enough to do it. However, if you're going to put something here, expect criticism or comment. Whether you agree with it is a different matter.
