Good morning everyone. After what seems like an eternity waiting for my computer security issues to clear up, I am finally able to post pics in the Radicons again, so I figure what better way to return than with my interpretation of Chromedome. I bought the head, guns and chest off of Shapeways (G2P-005 Chromehead) to the credit of XSilverboltX, and of course the awesome custom done by Payton 34. I used the G1 stickers from reprolabels and a Generations Red Alert to complete this guy. His armsguards are from the Energon Bulkhead armor attachment thingy lol, just chopped it up and used some of the pieces. Comments and Crits are welcome, thanks for stopping in!
Those arm guards really differentiate him from Sideswipe and those G1 stickers take it over the top. It really screams Chromedome now. Great job!
WAY TO GO using the extra parts to give him the "techy" side-spanels/arm-guards, that really makes him look more like himself than just another Lambo brother.
It's great and awesome... ...but, is he really a robot in disguise if his name on the windshield? Or is this a tribute to an unreleased and unrecolored G2 version? Other than that...
Yeah, that lol. I had the extra stickers left over from the reprolabels set and on the original toy he does have those stickers on the backs of his arms, but in retrospect I probably should have left them off, looks a bit silly Well thank you. Too true about the name on the windshield, but it was on the sticker sheet from reprolabels and I kinda thought it would be cool to put it on, no tribute intended lol.
AWESOME! That is such a sexy vehicle mode, and the robot mode is great too. Chromedome always was my favorite Headmaster.
