Like so many others, I wanted a Classics Brawn. I did this custom about a month or two before IGear dropped the news about Hench, which is about how it usually happens with my custom work, oh well lol. I used the standard formula for the head (Cyclonus), but I wanted to do something different for the body. I went with an over sized KO Legends Brawn from KOTOYS right before they went out of business. Arms are from a Cybertron Scrapmetal and Energon Blight. Upper legs are from a Realgear figure, I think it was the handheld game console dude. The feet are from HFTD Breacher. I scratchbuilt the roof. There was a very unfortunate accident with the waist very late in the game on this guy due to the mediocre quality of the KO plastic, but I was so far invested that I decided to finish him as best I could, so that is why his alt mode doesn't fit together all that well, and he is a bit of a partsformer; his door panels have to be taken off manually and attached to his back. I just couldn't figure out how to incorporate them into the transform, but i'm mildly satisfied so no biggie lol. I have Hench, but this guy caused me such a headache that i'm keeping him based on principle alone, as a matter of fact, he broke ever more during photos. Comments and Crits are welcome, but please be kind, if not for the waist this would have been much better. Thanks for looking! With his buddies Powerglide and Tailgate
This is a great Brawn! So unfortunate to hear that the limitations of the KO figure compromise the custom to some degree, but he looks fantastic. I daresay, aesthetically, this is probably my favourite Brawn to date, custom, official or 3rd party! Also, that Powerglide rules. zmog
Thanks aplenty fellas! Hey Zac, I would love to do the wash thing, but I don't know how unfortunately
