So, I've been chatting with a multitude of friends on this subject, and so now have decided to place it in front of the creative crowd here at tfw.

Basically as the title says, which molds would you choose to kitbash into Transformer Zone's, Big Powered, aka, Dai Atlas, Roadfire, and Sonic Bomber.

Whether it was trying to keep all the modes, or just bot and alt, or however, and good and bad points of someone's suggestion?

and for those of you that are a bit rusty on the Zone formers.....

    Dai Atlas

    Sonic Bomber

    Road Fire

    ^Good Question!
Hmm Dai Atlas = Universe King Atlas aka Machine Wars Starscream
    (with remolded head)
    Sonic Bomber = ??
    Road fire= ??
That's all I can think off.
Maybe other thoughts from everyone else? :D

This is something I want to tackle at some point.

    My choice would be...

Dia Atlas = Energon Megatron (The large version) New head, lose the tank add on, add a turbine to the nose cone.

Sonic Bomber = Universe Silverbolt. Detachable nose cone to use as shield. New head.

Road fire= Armarda Megatron. Swop out the legs with Cybertron Jetfire for aticulation. New head.

This'll make BigPowered massive, and rightly so!

I wanted a few people to post before I chimed in, as 'nobi and I were discussing this topic the other night. My advice was to do some major kitbashing. dak's Nova Prime came to mind, just because he really did a lot of kitbashing to capture the epicness of NP.

I've actually seen this done before. there's some japanese kitbasher who specializes in really creative repaints, but I can't find his site anymore. he's done like all of the triple changers, big powered, and tons of other stuff. if I remember correctly, the site was ALL japanese, and he labeled each custom as an "act" and had tons of pictures. and it was up to something like act 100+ years ago. I'd love it if someone could help me find it as well.

okay, instead of starting a new topic, I'm bringing this one back.

Same question, which molds to use, but, because of Adun's excellent choice in repainting Cybertron Starscream into Dai Atlas, shown Here,

and also because I had started on turning an Armada Galvatron into Roadfire.

My question is this, what mods would you do differently on either molds, and how would you get them to combine, or would you make them combine?

Right now, I'm using OP OP's turret for the main gun on Roadfire, and working on getting it so it even flips down like it does for Op Op's munkky mode shoulder cannons.....
There would also be the standard cybertron jetfire leg mods done to him as well as different hands.....

I run into problems trying to figure out how to make the cybertron screamer mold be able to combine.........

I think the Cybertron Seeker mold is a great base mold for Dai Atlas, as is Armada Mega/Galvatron for Roadfire.

It's Sonic Bomber that seems to be the problem child, but I think the suggested Classics Silverbolt would be a good starting point, or maybe even a Classics Jetfire/Uni 2.0 Treadbolt?

As far as combining points, no clue on that one man, but if I come up with something then I'll surely let you know.

    And here's his Atlas:

    and Sonic Bomber and Roadfire:

Thanks for the links, he does a pretty good job of representing the characters, just, they seem a bit small for my tastes....heh.
Makes me link of them when they were young and hadn't grown up yet! :D
