Well after seeing everyone else work on this classic swoop, I decided to post mine. I went with a slightly different approach and am pretty happy with the results.

Let me know what you think.

If I'm not mistaken that's the swoop used by the dinobot combiner that was out at the tail end of Engeron, I think?

I'm certain thats the mold, just can't remember the line

It's more then just a repaint. He added hands, while Energon Swoop just had the the claws. And he put some guns on the wings. I think he edited the head sculpt a bit as well.

But yeah, the paint alone actually makes that figure look really good.

Wow, you guys are good, I think it was an energon swoop figure, all I did was added some parts to the head, added some hands and paint.

I've been wondering how that figure scales up with some Classics figures (minus Grimlock). I've only seen those figures in person maybe once.

That is awesome work, quite a refreshing change from the recent slew of Seeker (read: Thrust!) based kitbashes!

Gee, maybe Hasbro could finally repaint Energon Grimlock & Swoop in Generation One colors and sell them again.

Grimlock from that set is already in G1 colors. They could package a G2 Grimlock with G1 Swoop though.

The Swoop from the Energon 2-pack has always been pretty cool, for an Energon figure. Pretty much the only reason I bought the set (before it became insanely rare).

Adding hands is all he really needs, but the paint and other tweaks you gave it really improve the figure a lot.

I used a metallic blue from model master and the guns are from one of the G1 combiner sets and the sword is from a roadbot.
