Hi there, just gonna post this one up and see what you guys think about it. The head is from Sculpt-bot, the weapons are made from classic seeker missle launchers and the missles were from a deluxe movie Brawl. This piece was inspired by another radicon, so it is definently not my original idea.

 

Pretty well executed man. After seeing this made for the second time I think I might have to have a go at it. The mold works pretty nicely for SW

 

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....another Soundwave! He looks great! I love the head and the detail on the chest. Very cool. 

 

thats the best one i've seen so far... BUT.... what i havn't seen is someone try to cut out the chest and make a more soundwavey chest(screen and buttons) and make speakers on the legs, but still... best one so far

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I'm playing around with the idea to try another one, this time going for a chest door, I have a few ideas that may work. The hard part is going to be making the door functional.

 

If you think you can figure out the functional door please take step by step pics. I think we all want to try that if it's possible.

THis definately looks like a Cybertronian version, especially the Lamp mode, which I think was some kind of com tower.

I think the chest looks fine, since this does not scream earthmode Soundwave with tapes.

It is very nice.

 

If you can make the lamp post light up too, that would be badass!

 

Now that would indeed be the shit, lol! It looks like the idea I had for the door isnt really gonna pan out, something could possible be scratch built, but I also found the G1 tapes are a bit larger than the chest area on figure. I am sure some one capable will be able to crank out something doable.
