I've been a Transformers collector/addict for a while and still don't own a Seeker Trine. I'm looking for a decent deal on the original Trine in some form. My collection could use from a Deluxe-Voyager class Seeker Trine and I would like to ask where a good place to get some form of the Seekers on the cheap would be? (I am not opposed to buying high quality KOs)
whats a trine? and just go to ebay. Screamer and the coneheads aren't that bad. Thundercracker is a bit more, but skywarp is a little expensive
Well if you want the "Classics" styled ones, just look for the triple packs; Seekers: Aces & Seekers: Elites I've seen the sets for fairly cheap. Phill
yeah if your after all of the seekers then your best option is most defently the triple packs, deluxe isnt a bad size of a mold that you will have 6 of, not to mention theres acidstorm then the g2 repaint the gost starscream and the many botcon clones as well lol, now imagine how much space all those would take up if there voyager
Isn't the Seeker Squadron the Platinum one with the weird colors on the G1 molds? Trine = trio And my budget isn't high enough for a 45 dollar Seeker if I'm getting 3
Takara but they are cheaper then buying them by themselves, but there are Ko versons sold by them shelves out and about that are rather nice i would browse ebay for fun if i was you get a feel
No, the seeker squadron sets are the right colors. You're thinking of the G1 versions of astrotrain and blitzwing. Trine does not mean trio. It is used to notate the increasing of something threefold.
Doesn't some official media use the word Trine to describe a seeker wing? EDIT Not meaning to be passive aggressive.
I would check the sales boards here. A year ago I got a great deal on all of the seekers (Acid Storm included) plus classics Smokescreen and Bluestreak for a $100 shipped. I haven't seen them that cheap since, but most people just want their classics gone these days for Masterpiece. I have an extra Starscream from that lot that I can let go. Send me a PM and we can chat.
You're quoting the etymology, not the definition. Beyond that, in modern English the word is only used in reference to astrology. You're using a $10 word incorrectly when there is a much simpler word to use: trio.
