Ever since I saw the BB mold, I thought "classic G1 Runabout (Black) and Runamuck (White)"

2 of my favorites as a kid, these battlecharger twins were on my list of "has to get done one day" and finally off that list.
These guys were pretty much a straight repaint, however I did some work to them; added some articulated hands, custom heads (cast G1 Trailbreaker) and removed the tow hitch on their back. The head was a nightmare getting it trimmed to fit in alt mode.

The paint on Runamuck is a pearl/iridescent white, and Runabout is a metallic flake black which is also iridescent (in certain angles it's green, red, or blue)

I love them but I wish the headlights were left normal instead of painted white

Thanks, I was gonna do that, but the lights had a crapload of glue holding them onto the figure, I didn't want to damage them by prying them off.

Me too, these guys are up with my favorites of all time. Their bio/background is kickass also.

of course! I actually have a bag full of reprolabels from TFcon, I kept finding myself at Delta's table buying more and more faction sheets. I think I have about 50 sheets now. I even have oversized rubsigns, no idea where I'll use them though.

Man, you outdone yourself so many times its hard to count, but those are pretty damn sweet. And how the BB mold works out is unbelieveable.

I never really liked this mold for the battlechargers i just dont think it works very well for them. I cant say i think the head works much either and both of the heads being the same is a bit of a turn off.
The paint job is awsome as usually though.

 

hey so, what do you guys think of the heads? they were a pain in the ass to get. I got the g1 trailbreaker head from a fellow board member, then modded it and cast it. Good resemblance? I hate the TF mouthplates, but slowly learning some gotta have it to portray the character best.

 

I see your opinion. I thought it does though, and 2 different heads would kinda kill the idea of them being twins, no? The hood=feet and swing out arms and fold back car's rear, made me think of the twins.
