Got the universe Inferno dismantle more than a year ago, lol. At that time, couldn't decide what to do with him and had been sitting on table ever since. Until the news of a grapple coming next spring, hence I decided to go with Artfire. He's not really mainstream figure, but I thought he was cool and was also suggested by a late friend - Astrobard. Update: Here's the final version of Classic Artfire w/ Nightstick. Alt mode: I changed the color placement slightly from the original toy. It was just white front and red at the rear part of the truck. Seem kindda awkward to me, hence I added the stripes on the truck. Extending from front to back, to mix up the white and red a bit. Nothing to crit from what I see. Just looks awesome (better than Grapple in my opinion). Nice clean paint apps and really good decal, too.
That is looking great so far - Artfire is a perfect repaint of this mold (obviously enough ) - will you be doing the target master partner as well?
This is one I've actually been waiting for myself. I can't wait to see you take on it. So far, though, so good.
looks good so far, lets see the rest of him, the g1 targetmaster was originally nightstick anyways right? makes it easy to just add some paint to him and be done with it
Gah! Why must you tease us like this? No one likes a pricktease... Giving us just a glimpse of the awesomeness that is Artfire is just plain wrong. Bring on the rest of the pics!
Surprised Hasbro/Takara haven't already got this down as a release with Hauler - they love their repaints! Looking forward to seeing more of this!
