I love the War Within style but I don't want to walk the road of disappointment again.

 

Watch either Hasbro or Takara tackle the War Within version of Optimus in some official capacity in 1-3 years.

 

Purely a guess based on the visible screws, MP. Maybe a little shorter than MP 10. Which, I guess, would make it a large leader sized Generations.

 

Why does this design get such love but only iron factory has tackled the IDW. Sure they’re similar and designed by the same artist but this one is just so meh

Was about to order the spark toys version after looking at numerous comparisons yesterday, but turns out he’s sold out everywhere sooooooo...here I am

 

Oooooh. I already have Alpha Pack, but this looks closer to a Stormbringer Prime with better articulation and less BEEF to move around.

 

MP-10 was listed as 24CM, this guy is listed as 25cm, Spark Toys was 22CM.

Well check out this thick slab of beefcake. Lumpsome as he is I'm liking it. He's going on my wishlist. I wish his shoulder blocks sat lower in alt-mode but I can dig it. It's a worthy sacrifice for being loaded with flexability.

WW is such a one off these days that I don't really see this as Optimus Prime anymore. However, I'm making weird shape language connections between this and Nemesis Gorira.

 

Now THERE’S a much better use of a trailer than some half-assed ‘battle station’!
