The City of fear story is by far one of my favourites, its gritty artwork really made it feel like a horror story for the transformers, dead war victims coming back to life as mindless killing zombies it truly was Transformers meets Night of the Living dead, plus it had a great cast of characters as well. To celebrate my love for the story and epic artwork I have attempted to make Chuffer who has the honour of opening the story with a gruesome horrific death First time I read this in my brothers comic I thought they had killed off Quickswitch as he had similar colours and style (he was one of my favourite Transformers at the time and still is) I tryed to include as many of his details and features as i had available from his short time in the comic, i never noticed he has these little antenna things on the side of his legs for example and the gun barrel on his back leans towards a tank or gun implacement alt mode ?(or prehaps it's a chimney and he turns into a bit of industrial equipment for production? Pre war design when the autobots alt modes were more for Jobs and would fit with his name chuffer maybe he's a train?) Probably better mold choices for him out there but had this old custom from 3 previous customs spare with all this random articulation which was quite fitting for his few poses, if i had more time i could of added an exploding chest feature...
Pre production pictures and possible alt mode, due to thr amount of existing transformation still there this is what I came up with, sentry gun or industrial machine that makes something? I get the feeling he's more a lover than a fighter by his opening lines It was classics Ironhide used from previous custom projects
