It's been so long since I've created a thread here that I honestly couldn't remember how to start one.
anyway, figured it out. Hope everyone is doing well. I've been sneaking in from time to time and it's great to see everyone keeping it real.

well I've been practicing designing faces in 3d in between jobs. Here's one that I did for KFC's Citizen Stack aka MP Ultra Magnus.
I actually quite like the face it came with but I wanted something that fit in with the rest of the MP boys...also didn't want to wait for SXS heads which look really nice btw.

So after some measuring and designing I printed out the face and eyes, painted them up, popped out the old face, lost one of the screws, replaced the new face, found the screw and boom, magnus has lips.

If you're curious I got these printed by 3D ADD FAB. I love the look of their prints and they're comparable to shapeways cost-wise.

anyways, here ya go. Lippy Magnus.

Edit: it's been so long since I've painted a figure all my paints are lumpy. that's why the silver face looks all beat up. bah!

    thanks for looking folks :)

yeah totally, I have a tough time getting lips to look just right.

thanks, I'm using spaceclaim. I've been using it for the better part of a year. I love it.
