This is my take on a Chug version of the red sports car loving Sideburn from RID2001, base figure is that of the TR Hotrod with the spoiler removed and then a small duck tail spoiler in its place. The TR Faceplate is the head off a old broken RID2001 Sideburn figure what I cut in half and sanding down to the right size and glued onto a titan master body .

Engine block is also from the broken sideburn figure what I then cut down a bit to have a better look and fit on the Hotrod figure,t autobot logo has also been cut off the original toys arm and glued onto the hotrod figures arm and the wheels are from the classics bumblebee figure

After all that it was just a full repaint and he's done

    Thoughts?

I don't really know this character...but thanks to this custom I just looked him up and have to say this works amazingly well.

I will be making X-brawn but not prowl since I collect by a one version of each character rule and I already have a prowl

That looks great, love the use of the rear end for the shield.

I thought I'd have to get the stupid roof arm thing to get the proper sideburn look

Parts integration is seamless and I really like the colours you picked. I think this works better for Sideburn than the TFCC 2012 figure, nice work.

What mold are you planning on using? I look forward to seeing it, regardless

    Very cool!

Love the arm shield from the spoiler end of the car that you made!

I would prefer no headmaster and add those blue and white flames!

Wow, that's sweet! My profile pic is my first custom hotrod that I had made from the red version of sideburn, so seeing you do the opposite is really fun

Really like the look of this. I might have gotten rid of the titan master feature altogether but no way I could do a better job! Would definitely buy this at retail

With how the transformation works I'd have to remove the head either way so just thought it would be easier to do it this way

There are easy mods to do to remove the gimmick without having to remove the head. I did it on my hot rod and only took a few minutes. But its your custom, you do as you see fit. It looks great as is so be proud
