I keep coming back to this thread. i love it. is the alt mode going to have any improvements? I think some double hinged flaps, behind kups thighs, could really help the alt mode. just my two cents. none the less, this is one of my favorite G1 customs I've seen in a while.

Love what you did with the arms. I couldn't stand G1 Kups skinny shoulders and forearms. Bravo!

The alt mode will look exactly as Kup should. The "flaps" will be G1 Kup bedrails attached to RTS G2 Primes fuel tank/back pack hinges. Hopefully it won't be too kibbly. His truck bed will fold in on his legs like G2 Primes panels.

You really nailed the IDW Kup look, Allen! I love everything about this, man. Makes me want to finish my old Kup custom (kinda gave up on it for a while and scrapped a few parts here and there for other customs once we got a Kup release). Keep knocking 'em outta the park, brother!

 

This really grabbed me when looking at it - definitely has a sense of weight and realism about him.

 

this looks great! really not satisfied with my generations Kup now.

 

I am usually a critical person (no...), but so far, it looks like it will be great. I'm assuming that the actual sanding, filing, putty, etc. will be done after the engineering is worked out.

I like it a lot. So much so, that when it's done, I'd love to see a recipe! I might try my hand. More likely, I'll put it in the pile of wishful-thinking projects that is currently in the dozens.
