Same here. I love all the Jazz toys I have, especially the SS86 one, but this one still comes out on top. I love the headsculpt and light-piping, and the proportions are appropriately very heroic.

He just looks so bad ass. That's a Jazz I'd follow into battle.

Not to mention the fact they were able to incorporate his speakers into both robot and vehicle mode blew my mind. RTS Jazz is the reason I didn't buy another single Jazz figure for over a decade until the SS86 Jazz came along. And even then, I still think the RTS is the ultimate Jazz.

I have what may seem like an inappropriate question for this thread, but I'm sure someone here has both of the figures in which I'm interested, and can help me out with an idea.

For those who own both Thrilling 30 Springer and Sandstorm:

I have no attachment to Springer, but I loved my G1 Sandstorm toy as a kid. I think the T30 mold is fantastic, but I don't like the twin VTOL rotors on Sandstorm. It looks fine in 'copter mode, but the huge rear wheels on the car look ridiculous to me, and I don't like the huge kibble they become on the robot. I'd like to take Springer's lower legs and canopy/backpack and transplant them onto Sandstorm, so that Sandstorm ends up a "normal" off-road car and "normal" helicopter. I would consider keeping Sandstorm's canopy and rear fins if I thought I could successfully attach Springer's rotor/sword to it. And no, I don't just want to repaint Springer and give him a new head, because there are elements of Sandstorm that I really want to keep-- I just don't like the rotors/wheels.

Anyway, I don't have either in-hand and am wondering (before I buy them) if such a project looks feasible. Thanks! (I'll gladly take PMs if you guys don't want to junk up your thread with a response.)

I couldn't agree more, and I still have yet to pick up a RTS Jazz (for some reason). It's not a Porsche, but damn is it fantastic. This toy sweeps the floor with SS86.

My daughter has figured out this hobby, too. The G1 Cartoon Season 3 backgrounds are just candy for these nice poses she set up! I took about 4 pictures of each pose and stuck with the background I liked best. Some of the ones I didn't keep were pretty Prime, too, though...

"Huffer can't stand there. He's just going to fall. Maybe you can make him stand there?"
    "Yes, baby."

    Claco_1.jpg

    "Huffer's doing pushups."

    Claco_2.jpg

She had no description for this one but she wanted her hand in the picture.

    Claco_3.jpg

"They're dancing except huffer doesn't know how to dance so he is just standing."
    "???"
