This shelf #1 (the top shelf) Thoughts?

 

Moody blues! I like the color of the lighting and the concept you're going for. But, it does kinda drown out the color of the figures somewhat, especially the further back in the rows you go. Maybe make it a little brighter? Keep at it, looks like it could be a pretty cool setup once you've finalized it.

 

Found the Hot Rod/Sharkticon set the other day. Gave HR to my friends little guy and kept the Sharkies for my collection.

I can’t wait for the Quintesson Pit set. Sadly no G1 Gnaw yet.

 

For those of you that have seen my Wreckers lineup in this thread, would Hubcap fit in? Just wondering.

 

Anyone have a link to that Pit set yet because I cant seem to find the Pre-Order for it..

New Bumblebee on the way.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how f***ed over the last Bee was. Much like Galvatron, Bee here was clearly a victim of design change to shoehorne in his Titan compatibility.

Look at the shape of the arms, and the extra articulation gained by flipping the arms.

And to go one more step flip everything - The back looks like it was originally intended as a faux chest (maybe meant for cliff?) , there was probably a waist swivel for this. I've added an insignia just to illustrate this point.

Don't get me wrong I'm glad he's finally getting a VW Bug shell but I would have loved to see this (and most of the TR line) as their intended design.

 

Should I add Hubcap to this Wreckers lineup?

I'm adding him to my lineup so I say yeah, go for it. What's the worst that could happen? If you don't like the figure once in hand you can move it to another shelf or sell it. If it sells out, and then you decide you did want it you may pay too much for it down the line.

I’m gonna be adding him to my wreckers shelf, but mine also pulls from pretty much every g1 version of the wreckers (plus bulkhead)

 

A lot, if Impactor is also involved.

 

New Rotorstorm is definitely going to replace the lazy custom I have on my Wreckers shelf. It will save some space, which might be immediately eaten by Hubcap. Argh.
