If you want the original G1 character, he's the best option. That or a G1 reissue.

It’s not the best, but I still think so, the T30 mold was insanely small, and had a really awkward looking truck mode.

ER is super hollow, to the point of feeling alarmingly light when you pick him up. But he looks great, and nails the character far better then T30 did. My other beef Though, is despite being the largest deluxe in both mode, like ER Prime hE compacts down a shocking amount in his transformation, which makes his alt mode feel really small. The styling of it, while better then T30, is also a tad “Tonka truck” looking - no where nearly as well sculpted as Primes alt mode.

so yes, worth it over T30, but still has some caveats: but he really looks great in bot mode. (And I’d try and get him on sale)

What do you want out of yer 'Oist? If him being a small Deluxe annoys you, or not G1 enough, then get the ER version. In every other respect, I prefer the T:30 lad.

I was into Generations figures from the off and loved the fact that they were reimagined instead of being too G1. Can argue this for most T30 figures but I feel the T30 era has way more love poured in even if they don't nail the now popular G1 aesthetic. My ony gripe with Hoist & TB was they were a little on the short side.
    So maybe...

yeah, that was my thing, they were just WAAAAAY to small. I generally preferred "modernized updates" ~ purely looks wise, I still prefer ER hoist, but based on the images we've seem, I prefer T30 Traiblreaker (I hate the block head the ER figure has). but he's still way to small.

The Terricon crew will likely remain with Galvatron since I never got Predaking.

But the rest on the picture will be the same as my plans for Team Nebulos. But don't forget Triggerhappy, Quake, Grotusque (since his last figure did come with Zarack's head), Sluggslinger, Plus pending Snap Dragon and Fast Track.

But after seeing this pic, Lord Zarak will need a combiner. So maybe the Pirate Seacon's will do if they never release Monstructor.

    Nope...

IDW Arcee kissed a girl and she liked it. Nevertheless, my T30 Arcee will not be replaced with that new ER version.

I never got a chance to read IDW so I don’t know. I do like the idea they are being a former couple regardless.

There were some fan arts and fictions about it back then.

LOL yes! He's a beefy boi and takes up a lot of shelf space so lifting him allows me to place other figures around him where his arms would normally hang if he was just on the shelf itself.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. That makes sense now. But if I may ask, is that the biggest shelf you have or is it ajustable?

Its just a cheapo Walmart shelf, that's the bottom shelf with the second shelf removed. The shelf above it is structural and is not adjustable. I could remove Abominus, giving me the room I need and simplifying my collection life but that shelf above still isn't adjustable and it goofs up my other 87 Decepticon shelf because there's no way Abominus could fit on there.
