I'd still sad these guys got cancelled in the West. I mean the TR molds are great but look at those piledrivers!

 

I love both lots and will never part with them.

 

It never made any sense other than price point (and they could have been released as a two pack). They fit in perfectly with a lot of Generations, WFC:S included.

Most of the ones you see though, including in these pictures, are the Transformers Adventure re-release. They have the silver guns instead of the gold that was featured in United.
Transformers Adventure TAV-32 Rumble & Frenzy

TAV-32 had a lot wider distribution than the initial release, and can still be found for relatively cheap. Not US retail cheap (even then), but you didn't pay $100 for two Scouts at release.

This is a custom Whirl of mine, using both DOTM Skyhammer and T30 Whirl. I hand-painted the head with silver paint, trimmed down the neck balljoint on the original DOTM Skyhammer figure to allow for a better fit for the new head, and reshaping the head a bit to allow for a better fit during transformation.





Aside of the needing of trimming some parts and an extra transformation step (Tilt the antenna towards forward of the head), it's still fully transformable and requires no pasts-forming.

 

The new IDW comics have brought some life to this psycho...

 

My second-hand RTS Jazz is a bit lonely without any weapons dedicated to it, so I shall change that.....



I custom built two weapons for my RTS Jazz; One of them is a assault rifle modified with some of my leftover gunpla parts with the addition of 3mm c-clips, while another one is a sonic blaster loosely based on TLK Hot Rod's Time bubble blaster. Both weapons has 5mm posts, Siege blast effects compatibility and spray-painted in silver color.



In vehicle mode, the sonic blaster clips on the rear spoiler via friction, and the assault rifle clips on to the 3mm bars on the flip-out car door windows via the 2 C-clips at the sides of the rifle; Not the most elegant of vehicle mode weapon storage I'll admit, but it's still better than nothing.

If you can pick this guy up still (the Tokyo Toy Show 2015 Black Convoy / Scourge), do so. The red accents are stunning. It gives him "inner rage". The TFCC version (which is next to it) really can't compare.

 

Yeah it's worked out great. I've rearranged them several times, it's actually a lot of fun. I even made a sketch of it in Adobe Illustrator so I can plan out new arrangements  



Now I'm like "Hmmmm how am I gonna fit HasLab Unicron in there?" hahaha... luckily I have plenty of time to figure it out!

 

Illustrator is my jam; never work a project without sketching it out first, furniture arrangement, fence design, woodshop projects, etc. Never what they intended it for but it's quick and easy.

 

Just got PotP Inferno today.
