Oh, it's far from perfect, but it has a charm to it that really makes me appreciate the mold.
Plus, I think the thigh transformation is genius.

I'm with @Yaujta on the older figures. There's a real charm to "update" figures over the "recreation" ones.

I will admit to having just purchased United Jazz, Universe Inferno and RTS Grapple (and Artfire), as well as a pile of RTS/Generations/United/eHobby Junkions, so I can definitely appreciate some of the older figures.

I actually traded my PotP Wrek-Gar for the RtS version over the weekend. I had sold mine ages ago and thought the new one would be good enough. It's decent, but not unique. The RtS one is both.

I just put this little setup together last week. Found Generations Junkheap in a tub and already had RTS Wreck-Gar and the Reprolabels, too, so a United Wreck-Gar and eHobby Scrapheap later here we are. DEFINITELY better than the POTP Wreck-Gar...

My Decepticon CHUG collection (50%) minus cyclonus , gnaw , brawl and dead end. I temporarily used RID Warrior Soundwave until My siege soundwave arrived.

    Ow.. Poor Bludgeon

That hound mold was one of my favorites for a long time. When I first got slowly back into collecting in my mid 20's it was one of the first molds I picked up.

And I'm with you on the thigh transformation. Always thought that was super clever.

My appreciation for CHUG, you can’t have to many Primes...MPs only offer the same Prime in different colors. CHUG gives me more options.

Is there a few chug figures that could work for an action master shelf?
Which G1 characters became action masters again? I forget who specifically. When I ask this I mean ones who weren’t created just for the gimmick. Stuff like action master optimus or devastator

i believe classics grimlock is based on his actionmaster appearance. titans return voyager prime + reprolabels kit works too and i think some people use potp jazz as an actionmaster representation. and just for an easy one that is an actionmaster original, cybertron smokescreen + siege lionizer makes a good rad and lionizer

Krok, obviously, his alt mode is very secondary as it's 1:1 Skullcruncher.

Nah, I like him how he is, plus they are blue. On a side note. I really hate his micron buddy Gatorator or whatever he’s called. Mine had his tail break off a couple months after I got him

This thread really makes me want to pull out my CHUG figures and get them all setup. I just need to wait a little longer so my toddlers are old enough not to wreck it.
