"ARRRGH!!! Abominus crush you too!"
"Not this time."
"Why Abominus always lose?!"
not sure if this counts as CHUG or 3P since it is a CHUG figure with a 3P add on
Is he shorter than FOC Grimlock? That's Orion right?
Not quite head wise, but the way his head and neck sit up over the back of the head, plus the iron factory cape wings add physical size to his bulk which for me is fine.
I love my UT Soundmixer,no complaints here,Siege Blaster will really have to impress me to replace him. I think 34.99 is a steal for him,I think I paid around 50 for him around the time he came out from my local 3rd party dealer.
Since I started collecting, I had a custom evasion prime and a CW Megs with upgrades. Since both are the leaders of their team and do not transform without parts-forming, an odd feeling about them slowly took over me...
Sooo, I decided to make a move and ordered those two: (credit to Danny Campbell, on Flickr, I think)
I have a feeling I will never look back!!!
Did you custom paint Hegemon? I don't remember him being so shiny.
Zeta re-released Hegemon when they split with ToyWorld. The Zeta version came in silver, rather than the drab gray of the original.
It was also priced/could be found for ~$60
Zeta Ex02 Megatron
Dare to be Stupid! I think it's high time that I shared these pics then. Hope no one minds one Animated figure sneaking in here.
"Won't you be my neighbour?"
"What a pile of junk!"
Man, I've gotta get effect parts for my Wreckers too...
This makes me realize that these Micromaster/mini-con/targetmasters of Siege have a much better play pattern with the larger figures than the Pretender/powermaster/targetmasters of POTP did. Wow, imagine if the packaging advertised this kind of "Power-linxing!"
I don't have it, but mp10-v aint no giant....
he's only a head taller by the look of it. So would go with a variety of grimlocks
A Crunch of Grimlocks?
Very nice. I was already a fan of those Battlemasters and seeing this makes me like all three molds even more.
Brought my old Straxus figure out for the first time in years recently, and I'm heartbroken to say that he hasn't fared too well. I was able to find most of his parts though. As of now, he's missing an arm and one of his little tank mode weapons.
So it would seem that FOC Grimlock is just about as tall as MP10V. Not sure I'm cool with that as Grimlock should be at minimum a head taller. That sucks because I already have him MISB. Need to figure if a Prime exists that's about a head shorter than FOC Grimlock. PS, I have classics Prime and I hate everything about that figure .
I came to the Prime/Grimlock scale debate in the other direction. Purchased MP10v as my Prime and basically backed myself into corner where making a Masterpiece purchase made sense. No regrets though. Apologies for TF Prime Arcee sneaking in there.
Those three scale really well together, looks great!!!
Thanks. I'm looking forward to adding Siege Ironhide to the ranks. After that, the next hope will be some other Dinobots to accompany Grimlock.
