    Cool. I thought the smokey clear plastic for the wheels was weird and I agree with your idea for bronze rims. It should look pretty snazzy!

    Thanks..I didn't like the smokey clear .I painted it black on the inside and it looks a lot better..

    Looks great, but I think I'll be painting only the tread of the wheels black on mine. I kind of think the smokey clear plastic would look good on just the rims. Might paint the brakes behind the rims copper too.

    Hmm. The original toy and Takara version have gold... could be another option!

    Nice touch up,dont like the smokey wheels either,is Takara going to be Solid Black with gold?

    Can't tell whether or not they're made of clear plastic, but the rims are gold.

    Looks really nice, but I think another layer would be even better as we can kind of see the clear palstic bleed through.
