Not a bad Christmas, but I'm still kinda bummed. It's not been a really good year for me and my wife this year, so I tried to make it special. I bought her (well both of us) an 80GB iPod Classic. I figured we could share it, though admittedly she'd use it more than I because she listens to music way more. I also got her a ring with her birthstone in it and a 10K White Gold necklace with a diamond in it. She got me... a fucking Halo 3 T-Shirt. One that doesn't fit. My wife of almost NINE years got me just a T-Shirt for Christmas--one that doesn't fit. She knows what size I wear. I'm just kinda heartbroken on the situation, I go out of my way for her this year, spend my unused personal days on her and then some, and she thinks of me enough to get me a T-shirt that doesn't fit. yay. I also got a US Marines T-shirt from my nephew (actually it's a bit small, but still fits better than the one my wife got me), and a $25 Walmart gift card from him. He drew my name for the secret santa this year. I'll probably wind up putting the $25 towards Mass Effect for the 360 tomorrow after I get off from work. Overall, I'm just bummed. It's not the fact that she got me just a T-Shirt, it's a nice shirt, but it just doesn't fit. And she knew that. And she didn't think to get me anything else. I don't know, it just bothers me.

Most importantly though was being able to see others open the gifts my fiancee and I got for them. I guess I have kind of turned a corner because it really wasn't about me this year, yet I got more than ever. I really went out of my way to make sure that my family and friends had a most awesome and blessed Christmas...

Clothes (of course) Some completely RANDOM things: This Dragonfly toy (essentially, a dragonfly that flaps wings and flies aorund using a remote control) An iPod case - I already have one. In fact, I've had it for almost 4 months now. Don't they notice? I didn't really like this Christmas. Didn't feel like anyone puts much thought into it anymore. My gifts got that "Oh.....I already have / don't really need this" (The Soprano's Season 1 I got my mom. She already saw most of it, and was kind of pushing me returning it and getting one of the later seasons. I lost the fucking receipt though so I'm stuck with the $80 sucker). Some of the gifts made me feel that no one actually knows what I like. I mean, most of my activities include playing video games...why not get me one of those? I'm not spoiled, and I'm not ungrateful. I'll use each of those gifts, and I'm glad people love me enough to buy me things that they think I will enjoy. It's just...I don't know....
