My wife was going to get me Chosen Prime gift cards. Was going to preorder FansToys Sovereign with them. But she hasn't done so yet, doesn't know enough about online transformer stores to order them without my intervention, and I can't think of a tactful way to remind her, so this might not happen.

 

Especially for Xmas? Nothing. I'll probably order some things from TF Source next week.

I'm 99% sure my wife didn't get me anything, because she was just yelling at me for spending way too much on tools and parts for my emulation box (a gutted NES that I put a MSI B150i mini-ITX mobo, 128GB SSD, Core i3 6100T, Silverstone low-profile CPU cooler, and 4GB Crucial Ballistix RAM inside, with Lakka for an OS and an 8bitdo NES30 Pro for a controller). We'll see what my parents got for me, but they don't spend a lot of me since I moved out so I'd be shocked if anything was Transformers-related.

I don't think of them as presents to myself, because I pretty much buy what I want when I want it/can afford it, but I do have Maketoys Rioter Despotron in my TFSource Stack; just waiting for TFM's Carnage and TFC's Mentarazor before I ship that. I'm also seriously thinking about ordering some of the Warbotron Computron dudes from BBTS. With Gravity Builder, Hades, Poseidon, Ordin, Feral Rex, Warbotron Bruticus, Uranos, TFM's Menasor, and even ToyWorld's Throttlebot combiner being relatively close in size Quantron is just too small. Guardia too, but I can't shake the feeling that TFC's Defensor would be a downgrade.

 

One problem I sometimes have is I watch a certain anime late when I watch it on Netflix, so I am late to the party. Hlj didn't have any sales on them for the few weeks I was looking for the figure, and ebay is all ko, so I went with Amazon that had some nice deals, and man is the shipping sux.... Also, one of the two figures sold out at HLJ, and sadly enough, a week or two ago, the other figure went on sale as you mentioned... I was worried to miss out on it.

That said, I have a few other figma's on preorder with hlj and AmiAmi and they are releasing next year. I have them on my Facebook, so I find out about new upcoming releases. I find I am drawn to preorder more than room I can handle spacewise as they make such amazing products, and might miss, and I am not so lucky with getting them on sales unfortunately but hoping for that day I will luck out.

 

That emu box sounds really cool!

Man, you people buying MPs for your kids... That is some kickass parenting. Always interested me whether or not kids actually played with them.

 

Only one I am getting is the Gigapower Grassor I ordered myself.

 

I didn't buy anything for myself specifically for Christmas but coincidentally, all my transformers this year just arrived in the mail. GP Slag, XTB Cyclonus, BC Sunstreaker, Takara Legends Springer.

My son got a ton of bots to open tomorrow, including MP Primal and CC Soundwave (the tablet one).

I got my wife some games she wanted, and a Figma Windwaker Link.

 

No transforming toys (yet) unless we count the Warbotron WB03-F Rex I plan on putting together when I get up (he arrived alongside MMC Terraegis late last week). However my little lady gave me my first Hot Toys Iron Man armor for Christmas: Mark XXXIII Silver Centurion. Awesome but scary; not sure I can afford two hobbies so expensive...

I always save one MP to be opened on Christmas. It makes it easier for my wife and I get exactly what I want. This year it's TT MP Inferno.

I also received a G1 Grimlock Hallmark ornament.

 

I'm getting the OG masterpiece Red Alert for Christmas and then I have a few more on the way that I pre-ordered (J4ZZ, MP Soundwave reissue, MMC Dicamus, and TMNT Figuarts Michaelangelo).
