I'm not sure where to put this, but saw this on Yahoo. Since some of us purchase Chinese knock-off Transformers, I thought it would be interesting to post this. Companies brace for end of cheap made-in-China era - Yahoo! Finance Comments?
So long as there exists an opportunity for corporations to manufacture in countries where costs can be kept low, in terms of a combination of wages, taxation, safety/environmental requirements, and other such cost streams, corporations will migrate to where those opportunities exist. And given the massive amount of foreign investment and trade income that China saw from offering such an opportunity, many other developing nations, both in the Pacific Rim and elsewhere in the world, will be tempted to create a similar situation.
Shit, copies of crap! LOL! Just kidding, some KO's are pretty descent, but if you copy a copy, then the end result is usually crap. Remember those old copy-machines when you would copy a copy a copy? The last copy look's nothing like the first one!
So does this mean that the quality of the figures will be better instead of some cheap crappy plastic? Or is it just KO figures?
